She was found guilty of the disorderly conduct and resisting arrest charges on June 8, 2007.
She was fined $250 and costs and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with all those days suspended on condition of Steffey's good behavior for one year.
She was also ordered to undergo counseling, according to court records.
No court or jail records were found for the woman who allegedly assaulted Steffey in October 2006.

lol... this is typical media twisting the story. im a cop. realistically, she would not have been detained and taken to jail for no reason. she was prolly public intox, etc. she answered a question that she has a history of thoughts of harming herself. they wouldnt have "jumped her". the only reason for crossing her legs is to make her comply w/ a search. once in custody for a felony offense... she cannot deny a search. cavity and strip searches suck. i gaurantee theres more to the story.
