Everytime my older sister played this record, I would scream and cry and beg her to turn it off. This song haunted me throughout my childhood.. it didn't help that this song on her vinyl was scratched and would jump and repeat itself over and over and over... now I'm older and I guess I can kind of appreciate it's similarities to Zapper or Mothers of Invention.. still creeps me out, though.

What a crack up, this song was so much fun when I was younger. I used to sing this song to my kids whenever they had baked beans.
They thought I made it up . . . they couldn't believe someone would make up a song about baked beans, and have a hit. . . .

these guys were quite successful in New Zealnd as well as Australia. One of the early exports from NZ along with Split Enz. They went to the states and got some noteirity but refused to play the fame game. I grew up on this song, even my day liked it and he wasnt into all the 'noise ' we listened to. This comes from the cd Stuffed which had 'See If I Care' on it another great song. Thanks for posting. Any idea where i can get their other two cds from
